18 Second .mp3
Tailgating before a football game can be fun, but tailgating on the road can put you in danger.
Add seconds of space between you and the car ahead. Two seconds in daytime, three at night, and five in fog, snow or ice. This message provided by the Wisconsin Automobile & Truck Dealers Association.
30 Second .mp3
Tailgating is dangerous for everyone on the road. In seconds, a tailgating accident can change your life.
Look at this scenario: Hard rain has caused low visibility and the car ahead is skidding out of control. If you’re tailgating there may be no time to react. Don’t put yourself in harm’s way, drive smart. It takes just seconds to put a safe distance between you and the car ahead.
Count two seconds in daytime, 3 at night, 4 to 5 seconds during poor driving conditions. The Wisconsin Automobile & Truck Dealers Association wants you to know that these small measures of time may save your life.
