Tips to Decrease Your Fuel Costs

18 Second .mp3

Take care of your car and it will save you money at the gas pump. The Wisconsin Automobile & Truck Dealers Association recommends you have your air filter and oil changed regularly. Engine tune-ups also add to fuel efficiency. Keep your tires properly inflated. And don’t forget to slow down. Driving faster only uses more gas.

30 Second .mp3

You can’t change the price of gas. But you can change your driving habits and save money at the gas pump.

Start by slowing down. Keep your eye on the speed limit. The faster you drive, the more gas you use.  Avoid excess idling, and remove excess weight from the inside, and the trunk of your car. Use cruise control.

Make sure your tires are properly inflated. Then follow routine maintenance procedures. The Wisconsin Automobile & Truck Dealers Association wants you to save money at the pump.
