For a short time Thursday morning Thorstad Chevrolet became a place for legislative business. Instead of purchase contracts, Governor Doyle brought Assembly Bill 594 and Assembly Bill 823 to the dealership for signing, giving the dealers two reasons to celebrate. In brief remarks before the bill signing the Governor commented about all of the great things he sees the dealers giving back to the communities. He said whether it’s a Little League field, or service on a local hospital board he is always impressed by all he sees the dealers doing. He expressed hope that the bills he was signing into law would help our business.
