WATDA HEALTH INSURANCE TASK FORCE

The first meeting of the task force is April 2, 2008.  We are off to a good start.  We have collected most employee census data for over 80% of the dealers in the four county Milwaukee area.  The ADAMM Insurance Trust is included.  When you add the employee count from the WATDA Insurance Corporation we have nearly 4,000 employees represented!

These large carriers would like to use their private medical provider networks to quote on our block of business in the four county Milwaukee area.  There may or may not be risk sharing through the WATD Insurance Corporation.  The insurers want the WATD Insurance Corporation to use (rent) their provider networks in the remainder of the state.  This combination represents a great number of lives and favorable volume for the large carriers.  This is one possible way that a deal could evolve with a large carrier.  There may be other combinations and structures.
