Over 100 automotive volunteers, sponsors, teachers and students participated in the event organized by The Foundation of WATDA. Wisconsin Automotive Service Technology competition finalists competed in a national competition in June in Kansas City They are (high school group): Dean Large, (Grafton High School)(Gold); Mark Nielsen (Neenah High School)(Silver); and Dan Weeks (Grafton High School) (Bronze).
Winners of the post-secondary competition are MATC-Madison competitors: Kyle Reimann, First Place; Chris Steffes, Second Place; and Jacon Kinnett, Third Place.

The Foundation of WATDA's Executive Director, Ray Pedersen(right) presents Grafton High School senior, Dean Large, a scholarship certificate after Large took first place in the secondary automotive technology SkillsUSA competition held at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison on April 24-26th. In second place was Mark Nielsen of Neenah and third place was Dan Weeks, also of Grafton. Grafton AYES teacher, Carl Hader is standing left.
